Morning Sing!

"Tsalagi gayotli goliga" - "I speak Cherokee like a child."

REPETITION is essential to learn and retain any language. One of the easiest ways is with songs and recitations.

Just click on a video, follow the written lyrics, and try to match the pace and pronunciation. It may seem clumsy at first, but you'll get it. Then do it again. Somewhere between the 15th and 20th repetition, you'll recognize the pattern.

You'll notice translations are not given. What's important here is getting used to the sound of the language. You may not remember, but this is how you learned your first language. You didn't understand what any of it meant, but you worked to duplicate what sounds the other people made.

Start your day with 20 repetitions, and you'll be amazed at how quickly things fall into place!
